The runner up to the new Bumblehive data center, the Georgia cryptologic center is the second largest US government data center and spans over 604,000 square feet. This facility will provide cryptologic professionals with the latest state-of-the-art tools to conduct signals intelligence operations, train the cryptologic workforce, and enable global communications. The Cryptologic Center is another step by the NSA to further evolve a cryptologic enterprise that is resilient, agile, and effective to respond to the current and future threat environment. The sixth time Travis Trophy winner awarded for activities that have made a contribution to the NSA’s mission looks to prolong its success. Because of the training capabilities of the workforce the data center provides new jobs to the Augusta area giving a sense of pride to the Georgian employees by protecting their home country.
