Lockport, New York

Yahoo’s Lockport data center  recently experienced a $170 million expansion to the facility based in upstate New York. The 150,000 square-foot add on will provide additional capacity and a new custmer service center.The data center was built in two phases on a 30-acre piece of property. The data center uses hydropower from the New York Port Authority harnessed from Niagra Falls and just recently was granted an additional 7.2 megawatts to the 16 they already are using.
